Ewan Smyth Signs Ahead Of The 26/27 Season!
Bryansburn Rangers FC are delighted to confirm the signing of goalkeeper Ewan Smyth from Bangor Amateurs FC ahead of the new season.
The 23-year-old joins the club following a short break from the game but has wasted no time in impressing the coaching staff with a series of excellent performances during pre-season training.
Ewan brings strong shot-stopping ability, confidence with the ball at his feet and a calm presence between the posts. His arrival adds further quality and healthy competition to the goalkeeping department as Andy Wallace continues to strengthen his squad for the season ahead.
Manager Andy Wallace is pleased to welcome Ewan to the club.
"We're delighted to bring Ewan to Bryansburn Rangers. Although he's had a short spell away from football, he's come back in excellent condition and has looked really sharp in training.
"He's a goalkeeper with excellent shot-stopping ability and is very comfortable playing out from the back, which suits the way we want to play. He's worked hard since coming in and has already shown the quality he possesses.
"Competition for places is vital if we're going to keep improving, and Ewan certainly adds that within our goalkeeping group. We're looking forward to working with him and seeing him continue to develop throughout the season."
Everyone at Bryansburn Rangers FC would like to extend a warm welcome to Ewan and wish him every success during his time at the club.
Welcome to Bryansburn Rangers, Ewan!
