Bryansburn Rangers II Progress in Champions of Down with Emphatic Victory
Bryansburn Rangers II made a superb start to their Champions of Down campaign with an impressive 6-3 victory over Castle FC Seniors in the opening round of the competition.
The young Burn side produced an outstanding attacking display, scoring six goals to secure their place in the next round.
Yellop stole the headlines with a magnificent hat-trick, while Josh Patterson, Turnbull and McNicholl all found the back of the net to complete an excellent team performance.
At the other end of the pitch, the squad showed resilience and determination throughout, producing a disciplined display to overcome a competitive Castle FC side.
A special mention goes to Matty Dempster, who was deservedly named Man of the Match after an outstanding all-round performance that helped drive the team to victory.
The result sees Bryansburn Rangers II progress to the next round of the Champions of Down, with another exciting challenge awaiting on Wednesday.
