Bryansburn Rangers II are the Champions of Down 2026!

Bryansburn Rangers Seconds are Champions of Down after producing a superb comeback to defeat Portaferry 3-1 in this evening's final.

Having already overcome Castle Seniors in the opening round and Ards Under-20s in the semi-final, Ryan Connolly's side showed tremendous character to complete the job and lift the trophy.

The match didn't start the way Bryansburn had hoped, with Portaferry taking an early lead to put the Seconds on the back foot. Rather than letting their heads drop, the lads responded brilliantly, growing into the game and taking control of the contest.

Two goals from Popeye turned the game on its head before Reed McMullan added a third to put the result beyond doubt, sealing a deserved 3-1 victory and sparking celebrations at the final whistle.
